Week 2 only the top 16 members of week 1 will be able to participate, week 3 the top 8 members of week 2 and in week 4 the top 4 members of week 3. The winner of round 4 will be crowned king or queen of Pxleyes! This final round's winner will be awarded with extra talent points!

So if you made the first place and finish with a score of 76%, you'll get 76 additional talent points.
The 2nd place will get 75% extra talent points depending on their score.
The 3rd place will get 50% extra talent points depending on their score.
And the 4th place will get 25% extra talent points depending on their score.
Week 2, 3 and 4 will be posted on Thursdays but will be opened for entries on Sundays after the previous round is closed, when the next participants are known. If you participate, be aware you might have to re-enter next rounds too!
Rounds 2, 3 and 4 will have 2 reserve players each. These will be the 2 runners up of the previous round, in the list with names who are allowed to enter their names will be followed by "(reserve 1 or 2)".
Reserves are allowed to enter their entry whenever they want BUT be aware:
if all qualified members for that round enter: ALL the entries by the reserves will by removed when the contest goes into voting. If one or two qualified members fail to enter one or two reserves are allowed to stay in the contest when the contest turns into voting.
Those removed entries will be allowed in the Mixed Media (or other fitting) contests later on.
The theme for this contest is: Kitchen tools
Stroll over to your kitchen and look for something interesting to photograph. You can use kitchen knifes, spoons, electric appliances, orange squeezers, coffee mugs and so on. Food is off theme, this means raw ingredients and / or preparing it, this also includes things like oranges and coffee beans. We want to see those typical tools which most people have and use in their kitchen.
Status: finished. Check out the winners below!
jerostone: How about pots and pans? ( 5 years and 2586 days ago )
Contest Moderator: allowed jerostone ( 5 years and 2586 days ago )
friiskiwi: How strict are we on tools? Pots, pans, spoons, knives, orange squeezers are tools IMO. They are used to prepare meals. Coffee cups, plates bowels are not tools IMO. ( 5 years and 2583 days ago )
teecee: Bowls are used to prepare salads and pasta dishes ( 5 years and 2583 days ago )
teecee: bowels are not tools ( 5 years and 2583 days ago )
Contest Moderator: According to the way the contest is written: "You can use kitchen knifes, spoons, electric appliances, orange squeezers, coffee mugs and so on...."
If a coffee mug is a "kitchen tool" then I see no reason to ban bowls and plates as they are as much as or as little as a coffee mug...
The only things that are forbidden would be food (of any type) and Preparation...this would include people to my best guess... otherwise, it appears if it's found in a kitchen, ( 5 years and 2583 days ago )
iquraishi: so we are assuming the water not to be an ingredient for the contest? ( 5 years and 2581 days ago )
Contest Moderator: I wouldn't think water to considered a food.... ( 5 years and 2580 days ago )
