I love the quote, but I can´t seem to put the picture with the quote...
author says:
Pablo Picasso did not listen to his mother's conventional wisdom and thus unexpectedly achieved greatness. In the photo, that little boy's hand did not grasp tightly onto his mother as one would expect; the little fingers appeared hesitant, almost reluctant to hold onto his mother's dress. I therefore see a budding spirit of creative independence which was what, I believe, Picasso was trying to convey in that quote.
