Film Noir 2 - Photography Contest [17 entries]
Contest goal:
Film Noir is a style of movies characterized by low-key lighting, usually in an urban setting, with corrupt or cynical characters. These films were very popular in the 40's and 50's. Famous examples might include "The Maltese Falcon," or "The Big Sleep." A good example of modern film noir would be "Sin City."
Take a photo that represents the film noir style. Black and white is not a necessity but it is strongly recommended in order to properly get the right feel for this contest. Good luck!

karaflazz: Try to stage a small scene (search the web for film noir photos) instead of searching you HHD for something to fit the contest.

Very nice. I like the small details, like the posters and the Detective License etc.
quality is of course excellent, but I'm especially impressed by all the thought that has gone into the whole scene.
I was very anxious the last 5 days cause i was running like crazy to gather all those things from friends & relatives,to find a place to do the set up (mine is very futuristic).Finally yesterday i manage to set my "office" on an old friends house & take the photo.I only wish i had the money to find more of this old things to make the scene even more realistic.I am very happy with the result but i know i could do much better under different circumstances.
