Great shot, but I'm not sure that the partial de-saturation does much for it.

Thanks for your feedback. I spent some time tweaking the contrast, exposure and saturation but I found that because it was a bright day , the green foliage behind the tree overwhelmed the shoes with increased saturation. I could selectively de-saturate the foliage but I think that it tinkering too much for this competition.

it's a nice picture and i also like the desaturation, in my oppinion it add's some drama.

I also like the saturation & contrast effect, I think it improves what might be a flatting photo otherwise. One of my top 5 this week, good luck
