One technology which only old people like myself would not take for granted and therefore appreciate. It is said that an escalator never breaks down, it merely becomes stairs. (5 years and 2505 days ago)
Until this technological innovation, shops are the only places one can buy things. Now it's open 24/7 and somewhere near you. In Japan you can buy almost anything, except perhaps another vending machine. (5 years and 2505 days ago)
Excellent idea! I get that this is a model of tunneling technology. (That, making a model, in itself is a technology) but if you would have stood off to one side or the other, catching your reflection in the glass would have been avoided.

Thank you for the advice, but believe me, if it was possible to avoid reflection, I would do it. In museums (and this photo is from a museum) they pretty often place things so that you can't do a technically excellent photo. Steps left-right make much worse - I've got these photos aswell
And about technology: I've studied chemical technology for 6 years, thus for me technology mostly mean process or something that refers to a process of creating usable things. And there is not much photos there illustrating the process or tools for it, but since it is fine with mods, I'm not discussing it
