Winning entry, with a score of:

Contest goal:

We hear a lot about Prime lenses, Like me most of you probably stick with zoom lenses. For this contest, I want you to tape your Zoom to 50 mm, or use a 50mm lens if you have one.
Your challenge is to go out with this lens only and photograph. Any subject is allowed.

This is not about finding old photos taken at that focal length but to go out and take new ones, studio shots allowed too.
The photo has to be taken during the week of this contest. So you have to upload a screen shot showing the photo, EXIF data, with date and focal length.
Have fun.

kyricom: I have a 55mm prime, but not a 50mm. Is that close enough? I do not have a zoom that would cover 50mm, either. ( 5 years and 2321 days ago )
mansury: i have 18-55 mm lens will that work ? ( 5 years and 2321 days ago )
mansury:
Hey Guys sorry to ask you this lame question, but I am a beginner so could you please help in exporting the EXIF info from my photos. ( 5 years and 2321 days ago )
Contest Moderator: All entries must have a screenshot of the EXIF data showing the type of lens and what mm it is at.

55 prime is okay as long as the EXIF shows it as a prime
18-55 is okay as long as it is zoomed to 50 and EXIF data shows that. ( 5 years and 2321 days ago )
mansury: Thanks ! ( 5 years and 2321 days ago )
friiskiwi: Many photo programa have a place where they display the EXIF data, EAsiest way , is to have that and your photo showin gon the screen and do a screen capture.
If you haven't got a program to show the Exif, Picasa does it and it's free. ( 5 years and 2321 days ago )
mansury: Thanks guys for helping me out. ( 5 years and 2321 days ago )
kyricom: Thanks ( 5 years and 2321 days ago )
friiskiwi: Watch your 'taping' so you don't get disappointed when you get home. I had taped my lens to 50mm. took some nice shots. Have just processed them. They looked good, just to be sure I checked the EXIF, Camera had moved off 50mm mark. Next time I'll check before and after pressing the shutter. ( 5 years and 2321 days ago )
mansury: Its a little bit difficult to set canon 18-55 mm lens to exactly at 50 mm, because on camera we don't have any reading which shows us the zoom level.
We have to click 5 to 10 photos by changing the zoom to different levels.

solkee: Next time buy a Nikon ( 5 years and 2321 days ago )
Artifakts: I'll pass for this one ! A had the small (and cheap) Canon 50mm 1.8 on my EOS 7D ... A plastic part broke inside my reflex and it was impossible to take it out. It cost me about 600€ (+/- 800$) to repair it ! ( 5 years and 2320 days ago )
mansury: @Artifackts : your photos are always amazing, they inspire me. ( 5 years and 2320 days ago )
friiskiwi: Artifakts, that would be expensive to repair, I thought they were only about 100€ new. ( 5 years and 2319 days ago )
NicoTrujillo: yess its the only lens i have heheh ( 5 years and 2316 days ago )
mansury: Just broke my 18-55mm lens..
