Self Portrait 7 - Photography Contest [39 entries]
Contest goal:
We have had a couple of very fun and successful self portrait contests in the past...since we have a lot of newer members, I think it's about time to do it again... Self portraits 7 and this time again without restrictions! Get out your cameras, timers and/or remotes and introduce yourself to the rest of us in a glorious statement of YOU!
Obviously, the rules of anonymity do not apply for this contest as it's a self portrait. As with all photography contests though: remember, you are required to take the shot yourself!
No pictures from grade school, only a recent picture of yourself.
Normal editing rules apply.

BeSea: I think that there's a reason why photographers prefer to be behind the camera. The camera doesn't lie. You can't deny how old you are getting to be. It's much more fun taking photos of others. ( 5 years and 2253 days ago )
BeSea: Suggestion: Have a delete button available to us after making comments (as it is in the photos) so that stupid people who push the button twice can eliminate the redundancy or modify their comment. ( 5 years and 2253 days ago )
awediot: Cameras never lie, but the edits often do... My face is always handy, and I don't mind messing with it. Others I may picture, I feel obliged to keep- in their opinion- good looking... I can be a willing victim of my sometimes unflattering artistic license. ( 5 years and 2252 days ago )

It's never easy really. You have to get the composition, lighting, angle and focus right, regardless of the model.
