Shooting with a wide angle lens creates a whole different approach to lines and angles. Show us a great wide angle shot that uses these lines and angles to their best advantage. Put the lens and focal length in your description. Subject of your choice. No fish eye lenses allowed.

Well, the problem is if you are not using a digital full frame format camera, your 18mm lens or below to say 16mm will still have a crop factor of 1.5, thus becoming a 27mm lens? So how does stating the focal length alone helps unless the camera used is also stated? Since the contest rule does not say a photo is off themed unless a lens wider than 18mm is used, (whether on a full frame camera or not), I should think the lens used is irrelevant as, in any case, the definition of "wide angle" is anything "wider" than 50mm on a 35mm analogue format or a full frame digital format equivalent? So a 35mm lens is technically a wide angle lens, and therefore comply with the contest rule? ( 5 years and 2165 days ago )
BeSea: You are right, of course, so I would say that each entry be without set limitations and be left up to the author to judge what they consider to be wide angle. Camera info should still be shown,if available Judging will ultimately determine what is a wide angle shot by the voters. ( 5 years and 2165 days ago )
