Flowers are one of the most common subjects for photography, and this theme is no exception. But in this case there are restrictions - your shot's subject should be just a single blossom of any type flower you'd like. There may be other things in the shot (or not), but the main subject should be the bloom. You could include the stem and leaves, or just concentrate on the bloom. It might be a bud, a full blossom, or anywhere in-between, but having more than one will make your entry off them. Secondly, this should be a studio shot. You don't have to have a professional studio, but it should be a shot you've set up in-doors, and not a shot from a garden, for example. In a studio shot you control the composition, background (it might be plain, or have many other objects in it
