skyangel: Are we allowed to combine two of our own photos ? ( 5 years and 1158 days ago )
kyricom: Hi skyangel. You cannot combine different, seperate photos into one in the photo contests. ( 5 years and 1156 days ago )
kyricom: Is it only cities or buildings that need to be in the foreground, or is any object alright? ( 5 years and 1156 days ago )
skyangel: I was wondering because there is a really nice double exposure entry in the sunrise contest.
If your camera has a double exposure feature is that counted as one photo or still considered to be a combination of two photos?

Well I apologize for my skepticism but I have never seen a bright yellow moon in my life, especially with a black outline around it. It just doesn't look real to me.

You are welcome to your skepticism, The large coloured moon is unusual, but happens at certain times of the year. A lot of the original image has been cropped out. I'm an early riser, so over the years I have got many photos of large colourful moons from my house. This one was taken on the 15th of May 2014.
This is simply wonderful.
Could you please explain how to get such a great exposure of the moon without the foreground being underexposed?
The following tutorial says double exposures are necessary for shots like yours.

I have not learned how to do this without a double exposure and I would love to learn how its done.
Thank you,
It's an HDR from a single image. Some extra burning and dodging.
