I love the morning, it might not always be the most beautiful time of the day, but this day it was. (5 years and 1059 days ago)

The most westerly point in France! The crossing to this island, situated at the meeting point of the Channel and the Atlantic, can often be choppy, but the trip is worthwhile, because once past the rocks and strong currents visitors reach a haven of unexpected tranquillity. I like this photo because it represents clearly the beauty and the danger of this place. (5 years and 1062 days ago)
As we were hiking in Juzaighuo National Park, I looked to the side and saw the rooftop of the old temple calling out to me. It was placed amongst the natural beauty of the surroundings and caught my breath in it's beauty. (5 years and 1065 days ago)
This is an early morning scene at Chiang Mai University where I walk every day. This morning the sun was rising and made the place magical with hues of yellow and shadows from the magnificent trees. It was imbued with peace. (5 years and 1065 days ago)
This statue of the Goddess Quan Am (of Vietnam) was a few stories tall. She stood in the temple, dimly illuminated and oozed peace. Beautifully carved she caught my attention and caused me to catch my breath with her calm serenity. (5 years and 1065 days ago)
This is indeed a most beautiful scene. The pastel shades in the awakening sky really have a great visual impact. It seems like a bit of a long exposure rendering the water milky smooth and the sharpness is exact. There is also good detail shown in the shadow aspect of the photograph indicating good exposure. Love it.
