A selective color competition for orange subjects only. May use Photoshop (or equivalent) in this instance to reduce other colors to grey-scale. So, your picture can only contain orange and grey-scale colors. The object must be orange already. You can't make a blue object orange. Show us the unedited image in the SBS.

still26: Does all the orange have to be selected and painted out? If you had 5 umbrellas and they were all orange, do we have to paint out ALL 5 or just one out of the 5? ( 5 years and 1010 days ago )

A knock em dead upload with a diagonal slant and I have checked your photo in high resolution and could not find spillage of orange...WELL DONE. The photograph is sharp, nice exposure and engages the viewer with delight.
really don,t think this can be improved, the Buddhist monks are in a unique position which radiates peace, there appears to be a bit of movement in the right arm of the left monk, but apart from that a nice shot.

I love how you have shown the fragility of this little crab who , by the way, is beautifully painted out in orange. This image speaks to me, engages the viewer with eye contact is placed in accordance with the rule of 3 (I know I know rules are for fools but those guides do work to strengthen images). Nice exposure on this, and the gray zones sparkle. You did a great job on this.

I just had to give you a review on this shot since I see this everyday. You caught him off guard during a very human moment. I have opened this up in high resolution and see you did a nice job of selecting out the orange. Look on his right arm, at the very base, where the robe and arm meet....you have a spill over onto the skin, you can easily eliminate this with desaturate....also have a look at the circular aspect of the lens...see how the integrity of the circle has been compromised? I do think this is a sharp and engaging photograph overall and I instantly gravitated to it.

Aaaaagggghhhhhhhhhh oh no. RATS. I will re-visit that upload. grrrrrrr.
I checked the entries and saw that one of the entries had another colour mixed in with orange. Teaches me to heed my own heart and read the rules carefully. Thank you.
Although I like this one, trying to decide whether the orange bollards add or subtract from the image, like the expressions of the girls behind, not sure I agree with him putting his thumb up though[looks to confident in this
