Great timing

Lately I have seen photos that are intentionally tilted, and the horizon is waaaaay off but the excitement is added with that unconventional composition. I have a feeling that had you tilted this hither and dither it would have worked. This one is nice and sharp so your shutter speed was smack on the money.

The cold colors really work well.

Great expression on the child's face. My eye is distracted to the large open space on the lower left. Maybe crop the bottom a bit to even the proportion with the top. I'd also consider cropping the left side just to the left of the traffic signal. This would call that out as well.

I wonder if one ever loses the love for cotton candy? I see within your photograph another photographer with her tripod. A lovely clear photograph, sharp, and well exposed.
