A narrow path through pampas grass winds down to a secluded beach. (5 years and 949 days ago)
Located at Wright's Beach State Park, "Death Rock" has the reputation of being the most dangerous point the Sonoma Coast. Sleeper waves appear without warning, disturbing what appears to be a most peaceful setting.

This is a photograph made, not a picture taken and I really like the "romantic" quality to it. We know you worked hard to get this and succeeded. I do think that the rock in the distance is vying for too much attention and is taking away from the grasses giving this an unbalanced feel...but that is strictly a subjective opion. Technically well done on quick shutter speed and freezing the swaying grasses and the colours are natural and appealing.
I appreciate your kind words, still! When walking down the path, Greyhound Rock suddenly appears. I thought that its presence would be what separates the shot from generic ocean foliage.
Howdie stranger!
