Colourful you bet. Good idea to fill in the whole page with these koi. You could pull down on the highlight lever to darken the highlight spots and thereby the colours would have popped out even more.

The colors are beautiful but it lacks toes to the left :/

Not only are the colours there but you resurrect an emotion for me, this feels familiar to me and that comforts the soul. Very nicely seen and shot.

Try using your tripod, and bracketing by 3 EV rate, blend in Photomatix and have fun.
