I cannot help but feel that this is a staged photograph, not that there is anything wrong with staging images...Nat Geo photogs do it all the time. But this image gives the viewer an uneasy feeling that the attention is on the book and not on the child. Technically a nice photograph.

Nicely cropped to how the girls' reactions in the broader context. I did think it could be lightened up at bit, since the boy's expression gets lost a bit.

I put a 20% vignette on this to darken the outside and highlight the two girls...guess you would have preferred it the other way around. I appreciate your comments.
