That is good to know that term, mysophobia as many have fear of germs. You have shown a brilliant photograph of someone who most likely has OCD on top of mysophobia. What is it a fear of: toilets, paper, constipation, cylinders, emptiness. Remind me of a joke: Life is like a toilet paper roll , the closer you get to the end the faster it goes.

OK now about the photograph. I love it and you have balls to put this up. It's a well taken photograph with a focal anchor evident, simple and strong.
