If you're starting to get anxiety about this contest you might suffer from Phobophobia - the fear of phobias. But just hang in there, because you are about to find out you're not alone. Your goal is to photograph a phobia. It can be your own, or one you're glad you don't have. There are hundreds of phobias, and here is the list of many of them. Name the phobia you are showing us in the title or description.
PRIZE:
Status: finished. Check out the winners below!
Contest Moderator: Due circumstances there will be no new contests on May 3, 2017. That's why this contest runs 2 weeks! ( 5 years and 1070 days ago )
Denlig: Should we photograph the cause of the phobia, the result of the phobia or the means of fighting it? ( 5 years and 1067 days ago )
finnphotography: Where is the list? ( 5 years and 1061 days ago )
dhoebeke: Hi, finn. I don't think there's a list as there was for Rolling Stone. If you find something that has a phobia name, you're probably okay. But I've been wrong before. ( 5 years and 1061 days ago )

Still you have a way of showing humanity in all its forms, you really are a caring person with a sense of whats right and sometimes showing this sort of work can be disturbing and want to look away, sad, sad picture this and hope she got help, thanks for sharing this even if its good viewing.

Thank you. These kinds of scenes I have seen all my photographic life. Even when I was studying photography I would alway gravitate to those less fortunate and shoot them, perhaps because I see myself in them.
I can feel the connection between the phobia and your image. Sad but as a photographer you made the connection and I take it as a voice, as a reminder of keep taking care of every living being. Thank you for that

Thank you so much for saying that. Yes, this is my personal greatest fear and already there are times when I feel this way.
These guys mate for life too, like the Canada goose! Hence the term "lone wolf" because if the mate dies they stay alone...this of course is critical for you to know.
Now, onto the review. Your side portrait angle works for it creates a mystery for us viewers, there is a wildness seen in his gaze which is out of the frame and that engages us as we wonder what it is he is looking at...his natural strength , his confidence and his soul have been well captured by your lens. The white background fully supports the beauty of this gorgeous animal Details are sharp , contrast is good and it feels like this photographer and his camera are best of friends. Top notch work.
