Wonderful light

You have so much going here for you. The light shadow play is simply dynamic. You have mystery with that person and you have wonderful patterns caught. I also love the grunge or texture that can be felt with this excellent upload. Top marks from me dear author. This is really beyond great it is photography nirvana.

Fine photographic art. The gentle sepia is so perfect for it is a fragile colour which helps to highlight the softness of this flower, just emerging. The dark center with excellent detail caught is a wonderful visual balance. The sweep of the petals adds visual excitement as well. To me, this is top notch, and I would buy this, matte it, frame it, and hang it on a wall.

The human presence adds a lot to the photo...

Interesting. In the original shot (post processing) I had it in b/w but it looked oh so desperately cliche, so black and white so I changed it to what you now see. You are always changing my photos into black and white.

By the way what is black white black white black white black white? Give up?

I had a look on your portfolio and you are very promising...
If i may...a bit of advice (not really an advice).
Quality over quantity.
You don't have to submit 4 or 5 entry's on each contest.
You have a very good "eye" so you have to be more confident (if you don't feel very..you will get there pretty soon).
Choose your photos carefully & don't submit all 5 photos just for you to have more chances of have a wining one!
I hope you don't get this the wrong way.
