Nicely executed photo. Great smile that endears the subject to the viewer. But is it a photo of the bike or the person? Lovely period feel to the image with BSA and ARP in the image.

Yes could have cropped a tad more, but think the bike is about him
I like this shot a lot and it is because of the warm smile he has to the photographer, a comfortable feel in this. You have done well to keep the bike in place as it is about him and the story is richer. Your tonal qualities are really nicely handled as well. YOu have black and white with many gray tones that add lustre. The image is sharp "as a woman's tongue". You get high marks from me on this one.

Fabulously cheeky face. Black background makes the image stand out really well. At first I thought the noise too much but after a while I think the dusty effect adds to the photo by giving it context - a street in the back of beyond. Yes - he'd be able to talk you into buying a wreck!!

Hi, I can't remember but I think I may have added grain to this shot...it's an old photo. Thank you for your comments which I appreciate.
Well seen and well executed. You could also crop out the entire L section and just have her melting into black...I know it is all about artistic prerogative and I bow to yours. Nice and sharp, good communication between photographer and subject and I love her black black black eyes.

Nice portrait. Good soft face and direct eye contact. I would have preferred to have the top of the head in the image as well as hair each side of her face.
Nicki, you are one sweet looking young lady! You are following HC BRESSON who used to amputate heads, limbs etc. The white cast on this is distracting.

I like the mystery of this portrait. Having her look "over there" versus at you further adds meat to the story. She is behind bars, looking towards......well, you can read a lot into this post. The shot is well composed, balanced, good skin tones...(have you tried soften skin lever on NIK software?). Nice contrast, sharp and clear. You need to put your title TRAPPED....into where you have your entry number. Titles matter and often in gallery showings a title can mean the difference between a sale and no sale.

Thank you for your observations. I know there is a debate over whether the 'subject' should have eye contact with the camera or not. I often feel that not having eye contact makes the shot look more natural and less posed. I will experiment with the NOK 'softener' and see how the image changes.
Thanks again.
