Take photos of anything you want, but the view must be looking up. Some tips I found online:
- Squat down and tilt your camera up towards your subject.
- Lay on your back directly beneath your subject.
- If you're comfortably positioned in a chair, don't get up; just angle the camera up and snap away. So instead of photographing a person looking up (like in the looking up contest), take a shot of an upwards view.

I can easily imagine he is going down too... Something tells me I'm wrong but I can't see what it is.

You are right, it is an illusion, but it is my husband going up the escalator in Nagoya. Thank you for stopping by....maybe I should title this Up or Down.
Well interesting photo considering the subject is quite boring,i think that if you have an eye for a photo you can make even a boring subject interesting, classic example of this.

Good thing that person is not wearing a skirt?
...or a kilt.
Again interesting perspective and something different
Thank you dearest, appreciate your comments.

Fabulous perspective and great light on the sides of the escalator. The single and distant figure also add to the shot.
Once again, thank you.
