I like the shot a lot. How to improve the feeling of floating away on the wind - could the umbrella handle have been in shot. Very difficult to get it staged right to achieve that but it would have been cool.

Really love the minimalism to this dramatic post. The black works so well....top marks in my books.

I echo the comments of the others. A great shot - well spotted. Would the shot have been better with less black below the cycle - as much black building as there is sky to balance the shot? Maybe but then it works well as it is.

BTW, is the bicycle photographed from the top or from the bottom?

Shift your eyes around and you can see different perspectives of the bike.

Having read your comments I went back to the photo to see if there was an illusion here and finally my eyes adjusted and yes, we could be looking down on the bike and not up....FANTASTIC. I love these kinds of shots that stir up my gray matter.

Simplistic subject but done well

LOVE IT....like the ray of sunlight atop, the blue is crisp well saturated and it is so well centered. Top marks!

This is more of a sunset photograph versus a silhouette photograph but that doesn't make it a bad shot, if anything, the setting sun ignites the whole scene.

I really like this image. Warm colours that compliment the silhouetted pier. Does the dark foreground add to the shot? If it were cropped out would that emphasize the pier more or take away the context?

Already cropped some of the foreground,decided to leave just that small part in
