The Saint-Louis lighthouse in Sète (South of France) is at the end of the Saint-Louis pier. It was built around 1680, then demolished in 1944 by German mines. In 1948 the decision is made to rebuild it. It is currently still used to signal the entrance to the channel and is open to the public. (5 years and 707 days ago)
One is drawn to the otherworldliness of this great shot. We can see the artistic eye of this photographer. Your point of view is from a boat? Especially lovely are the predominantly blue hues, adds to the atmosphere of the whole shot. Your focus is dead on the lighthouse with some softening through the back, overall this is top notch! Nice work author.
Thank you Olga
