The natural pathway of the human eye is to always gravitate towards the brightest spot on the "canvas" and you have placed that spot right into the grid line...well done. Sharp with soft diffusion leading us to the hot spot. This was a well thought out image and a pleasure to view and to learn from it...thank you.

I am drawn to the side compositional style of this photo that hints of minimalism. The large sky was your intention and it works to "shrink" that aboandonded forlorn looking building and the foreground is perfect. My only comment is that it doesn't look sharp and I'm wondering if you took this out of a moving car?

Thank you Still26. As far as I remember I did not take the photo from a moving car but the original image is quite small - under 200 Kb so perhaps this has an effect on sharpness

This looks like it would be a wonderful place to visit and explore and you have presented it completely enticingly. Have you tried this in monochrome?
I took so many pictures of this place... I tried some in monochrome and I finally chose this one.
I think would be a good one for a photoshoppe contest, add a few fairies, knights or damsels in distress!
