Hi, this doesn't look posed but spontaneous. I think the contest asks that the portrait be posed. Nevertheless, I like this shot and especially that gentleman is giving the gal a bit of a joke it seems. Why not in colour? I know it's artistic prerogative but I think, to my eyes, it would have been a more exciting photo with colour....but that is just me.
This is the kind of portrait that speaks to the viewer, actually it sings a loud song, it's poetic. Clear and crisp but the subjects are hypnotic with eyes that look similar except in different bodies. This is one photograph that when that little boy grows into a man, and the man will no longer be there, by looking at this image he will always be alive in the little boy's heart. A beautiful portraiture. Even the blurred hand adds to the scene. I have a photo of my mom and me and her hand is blurred too holding me still. That photo is framed and covered with age. Top Marks!

Thanks, they are father and son and I really adore the Childs hair. I was torn as to whether I should include the blurred hand and opted to keep it. Glad it spoke to you
