So many things to like about your upload. The message is heard and seen (titles do matter). The fact that this is almost monochrome yet the bread is the only coloured aspect of this image really lets us focus on the bread. Also you have it with a bias towards dark and shadows so it whispers to you instead of screaming at you. The focus is on the bread . This is an image that shows us you worked on it and created a photograph, not just a happy snap. My dad who lived through the Second World war and got out of a "camp" always used to say to me "when you have bread you have no hunger". That is what you image says to me. A very well composed piece giving bread the nobility it deserves. Kudos.
Comments whether they glow or constructively critique help not only the photographer who took the image but also the reviewer. It is a double-edged sword and this site would be made richer if more people added their two cents worth, don't you agree?

I agree, but your two cents worth more than anybody's two cents. You write a beautiful English language, and you sure know what you're talking about due to your talent and your knowledge...
Well, frankly speaking, I admire your talent as a photographer (and you already know how I feel about your photoshop skills which I've raved about since I got to know you). There is nothing wrong with your English, nothing at all and sometimes I hunger to hear from members to learn why my photo came in last ....why why why did everyone hate it when I loved it so? Please don't be shy to add a comment on how to improve....I may not agree with you but will appreciate you commenting.

I feel the same about my photos coming last sometimes I agree, sometimes I don't. I love your photos as well, I think you are the best (or one of the bests you can count on your figers, on one hand). What I mean is that I can say I like a photo because it touches me, but I don't have your knowledge about technical matters, I just get to catch some vocabulary reading you, maybe I will try to comment more, but maybe I don't feel sure enough about my ability to judge. Maybe I would need a few monthes more reading you and assimilate the elements I still miss
I understand how you feel but you have to recognize you are no slouch when it comes to photography. You can say easily what you like: I like this....and that and you can easily and diplomatically say...."your photo is good but .....I feel it would be better if...."
Sometimes you will get snarky responses but most times one can actually find a nice human quality in every person on this site.
Go, ahead, bite the bullet and tell us what touches your heart and what doesn't and why. I for one would really appreciate more in-depth reviews by members.
As for worrying about English.....phssshhhhhaaawwwwww.....mine ain't perfect for that matter!

This photo makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I love how you caught the essence of Easter with these breads. I wonder if this image would have been even stronger with the "shmata" cropped down and a nip at the left.....themz my two cents worth.
