I am drawn to the nice dappled effect to this photograph, that play of light and shadow makes it more intriguing. Nice clear upload, sharp and well exposed in difficult lighting conditions! What a bitch we have to die...huh?

I just viewed your image in high res and was blown over at the artistry of your upload. I quite like that "witnessing" effect you have included. This image whispers to me that there are secrets hidden within. I like the compositional style as well that solid stone to our right and the tree, (full of life) hugging (framing) the distant stones. I also like the tonality of this shot...black to white and much in between. Top of the shelf work both technically and artistically.

We photographers are all cut from the same cloth. I too always visit graveyards/cemeteries when I travel and wonder the exact same thing you do..."how was life for them?". Some of their stones give insight into the kind of people they were and how loved they were. The feeling of a huge resting place comes through by way of your composition. Fog was serendipitous, ay?!
