This goat hair carpet was hand woven and dyed in the traditional ways by village people up in the mountains of Bulgaria. My brother brought a few back when he returned home after 10 years living in Bulgaria. It's a huge rug, weighs a ton and feels amazing to walk on. Our cats and dogs love sleeping on it in the winter in fact when we first got it my old Lab tried to mate it;-) My only complaint is that it sheds! (5 years and 3678 days ago)

looks beautiful, and I bet it sheds worse than the dogs.
Is this natural? It appears to have been chopped, like you sectioned it in strips with a feather and adjusted each color with color adjustment or curves and I don't think that's allowed. I'm just saying it looks photoshopped. (chopped) It’s still a cool pic though.
I have a Canon Power Shot and I don't even have photoshop let alone know how to use it. All I did to this shot was adjust the contrast slightly. This is the untouched rug and colours as it looks on our family room floor. Thanks for the compliment at the end though
Ha ha... natural blue and green goat in Bulgaria!.... just kidding, sorry! Very nice find! I think -since this carpet - you walk barefoot!...ha ha
lol Wind. Just to clarify. As stated in my description, the rugs are dyed with various bright colours. My son and daughter-in-law have one of these rugs too but in natural goat colours, browns, blacks, greys and creams. And yes, barefoot is the only way to walk on these rugs, it feels like stepping on the mossy floor of a mountain stream.
Howdie stranger!
