Author, this is really off contest theme. You were supposed to photograph a culinary disaster. This just kind of makes me crave spagetti. No description to what the disaster is either.

"Well pasta al dente" a play on words, eg: well past al dente or over cooked pasta. It is therefore on topic.

it is only overcooked if that is what you wanted...........here where I live, the pasta is deliberatly cooked this way, it is th eway we eat it here with some of our dishes. so, this would not be a disaster........now if it was stuck to the bottom of the pan!........that would be a disaster!
