very cute but I agree with friiskiwi, read the guidelines on how far you can alter your original photo
I only used curves, gaussian blur and overlay mode on layer... thought it was within the rules... let me know if not, I will withdraw, no problem at all...
That's "fresh water?" Where's the surf from?
(P.S. - anytime your talking about adding layers, you're probably talking about too much photoshop)

Actually author, I was wrong, sorry. I thought gaussion blur and duplicated layers was not allowed but it is. But I think the point is that it was altered a little too much maybe. I don't know.
