Reticulated silver is a process where the metal is soaked in a mild acid bath and then heated to not quite the melting point. Then, it is repeated four or five times. This gives the metal the "wrinkled" look. This one is set with an Australian opal with parts of it purposefully left "pitted" to blend in with the reticulation more. (5 years and 3602 days ago)
