My Grandma bought this gown while expecting her 8th child, maybe hoping for a girl... she had a boy! Her next was also a boy... as it turns out, I was the first girl to be born into the family after the dress was bought so it was passed down to me. I wore it, my sister wore it and my 3 daughters wore it as a baptism gown. It is now behind glass awaiting *someday* my own granddaughters :) (5 years and 3629 days ago)
