if this is a mirror, then it is off topic!!!
it is meant to be a shot of a picture in a frame
The original picture was in a mirror, but this is a 5x7 print of that in a frame on my wall, below the bottom of the frame you can see the shadow of the frame itself on the white wall, also in high res you can see the edges of the print end just before the matting
Now you provide description, I see it, but I do not see any glass in the frame.............the hi res is very course
I'm sorry that you don't see the glass, but i assure you it is there. The contest states that there should be "no reflections or glare" and I worked very hard to achieve that. In my photo lighting and design class we just spent the past three weeks learning the family of angles theory and how to shoot glass and metal, this was one of my assignments. I used soft continuous directional light from the top and no flash to achieve this. I also have shots where there is glare and would be happy to post them if you would like.
Also not to be a jerk but I just read this in the rules and guidelines "(ADDED 11/2009) DON'T comment on 'administrative' issues of the entry (such as being off-topic for example), but raise a red flag instead." I realize that you are a moderator and it is your job to raise these questions but perhaps sending me a message rather than questioning me in the open forum would be more appropriate.
I am not questioning you, as you put it. any lessons learned here are for all to see. The answer you put means that those who do not know how to achieve the result you did, can ask you how!!.........As I see it, that is part of what this site is about............good luck!
My apologies Ade, thank-you.
but it is a Fabulous job man.... Good Luck
well done
great shot !
Very nice even if a bit dark. Best of luck to you!!
oooh I don't know how I missed this ""(ADDED 11/2009) DON'T comment on 'administrative' issues of the entry (such as being off-topic for example" Yikes, I'm gonna have to watch how I comment now :o
by the way, lovely!
Congrats for your second place, Locksmagic!
