An antique shop I visited not too long ago and well, they were not too organized in the back. All kinds of antiques were everywhere and a lot of it had been sitting awhile. Seems pretty chaotic. (5 years and 3388 days ago)

Dosen't seem too cluttered, especially for an antique shop.
Then your blind
A little cluttered, but certainly not bad enough to be "Chaos"
This don't look like chaos, just about every antique shop I ever been in looks like this, it is the norm.
Oh, Cumon Ade. I thought for sure you would go along with this entry as Chaos. Sure it's not looking like the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina but it's still on theme and meets the definition of Chaos. I know most people would associate the word 'Chaos' with riots, death metal, meth addicts and punk rock mash pits. But here's the definition in the next comment from Webster's dictionary:
Anyone else notice we have less space to comment now?
cha·os
Pronunciation: \ˈkÄ-ˌäs\
1. obsolete : chasm, abyss
2. a often capitalized : a state of things in which chance is supreme; especially: the confused unorganized state of primordial matter before the creation of distinct forms — compare cosmos. b : the inherent unpredictability in the behavior of a complex natural system (as the atmosphere, boiling water, or the beating heart)
3. a : a state of utter confusion b : a confused mass or mixture
I think it fits under the definition "confused unorganized state of primordial matter" just fine. Ade, look at the definition and then look at the entry again in high res. If you still feel it's not a good theme match for chaos, I'll replace it. Yes, it's YOUR opinion that matters at this point.
I guess it's what could be said to be 'organised chaos', I am sure you have heard the term. I agree, there is an awful lot of stuff here.....as I said before, just about every antique store I have ever been in has looked like this, the ones I can afford to look at anyway........but as for real chaos, I stand by my original comment. but, as always, this is just my opinion, I am not the mod here.
the items are all lined up in rows so it really doesn't look chaotic to me, especially since the table is all done up nicely and such. I've been to many antique shops and this one is set up fairly nice BUT if you are not one to frequent these places, it may seem chaotic to you. after thinking about it for a while, the meaning of the word chaos is really all in the eyes of the beholder (or viewer)
Well, to be honest I'm sure I could have got a better shot the of the more clutter chaos but at the time, I did not have chaos in mind. If I have a theme in mind then I get more accurate shots. Believe me, in other parts of this shop, it was a wreck. I guess to me this shot seems to still capture the chaos to a point and I thought it was the most artistic out of everything I shot I took that day.
I'm just gonna leave it. It's Wednesday anyways so it seems pointless this late in the week. I don't see it getting removed, just not a winner. Thanks for your critique, Ade. I'd give you gold if I could.
yes, I would keep it up if I were you
good luck author...........
who in the heck is going around giving thumbs down for comments like adeincyprus' "good luck author" ????
Who knows, but honestly I'm not crazy about them a bit. Besides, I think they give away your anonymity by approving them, especially if no one else is. The names will appear of those who click the thumbs up and approve the comment. I was happier with the medals.
Howdie stranger!
