Although I like to encourage people to try new things..... I do think you may have "overdone' the HDR process a little here. You might want to re-process this a little bit.... go for more realism than the "wow" factor. What are you using to process the HDR? Photoshop, phtomatix?
first layer do regular image.... then make copy of original and past to 2nd layer change blending mode to overlay... then do desaturate then invert and guassian blur to 40% then copy original and make third layer change blending mode to linear light and change opacity to 40-60% depending on your preference and there you will get an better "HDR" effect. KK !!!!!!! i highly suggest you retry this image! it could be soooooo much better!!!

I think the angle needs to be changed. Shooting strait down just seems like I'm watching this on WSOP poker tour. It would add more depth and art to the photo if you took it from an angle, maybe a close up of the cards from the side of the table.
HDR is ok now?
