This is a piece of banded Psilomelane. It's found in only one place in the world, called the "Crown of Silver" mine in central Mexico. The mine closed many years ago. (5 years and 3330 days ago)

I know a few Geology geeks who would love this one! Nice find.
I think a change in direction of your light source (more to the side) would have helped to bring out the natural curves and lines of this piece though.
