The word derives from the Greek γυμναστική (gymnastike), fem. of γυμναστικός (gymnastikos), "fond of athletic exercises", from γυμνάσια (gymnasia), "exercise" and that from γυμνός (gymnos), "naked", because athletes exercised and competed without clothing.
For this shot i was covered with oil.
An external flash was used & a black backdrop on the wall.

If you were covered in oil - who took the shot? I don't mean to offend but the lighting aroungd the feet make the shot look like a chop

Fallinghorse, I think the effect you are looking at is a result of dramatic contrast adjustments. That caught my eye too.
