beautiful, what is it?
holy cow! what kind of macro lens do you have for this???
What is it? Why, this is a single snowflake, caught on a piece of black cardboard. They are really beautiful tiny ice crystals if you catch them flat, and it's said that no two are alike. You have to wait for just the right kind of snowfall for this shot to work (I got lucky). I've been getting into photographing them this year, but didn't want to use all three entries on this. But they're fun.
k5683, this was taken with a 35-80mm lens, an extension tube and a magnifying filter.
