It is way too blurry and noisy to be considered a good photo but I have always felt there was something in this picture that spoke to me. (5 years and 3395 days ago)

I can see what you mean, love the light on the heads
Yes, the light 'from above' really makes this photo special. Was getting a shot with this light through patience or good luck?
Mostly luck and paying attention. I was a long way from the statue when I spotted the light. If I could have gotten closer before losing it I would have. I prefer not to use my telephoto as I have a problem with camera shake (my hands are not very steady and it gets really bad at full zoom).
But it was shoot it then or miss it.
I agree with what you say about speaking to you. THe lighting on the faces is totally amazing!!
