Author....perhaps a description of some sort....what does this have to do with the topic?
?? description?....
I don.t get it, could you please add a description, as per rules, ". If the meaning of it is not really obvious, you have to explain your shot in the description."
@ Ory............ have you copied and pasted this comment into it's own folder...........it has been aired quite few times already..........
I can't stop laughing every time I scroll past this image
xogx2002... and I thought I was the only one!!! LOL
Ok, Ok... I honestly didn't think this needed a description as it was made to be close (at least stylistically, not qualitatively) to Picasso. I think the quote is basically saying that art makes us think, and analyze. For example, this entry is entitled "woman." It has two eyes, hair, a nose, and a mouth - just like "real" women. Does it look like a real woman? No. Do the women around us look like "real" women? No. The ones we are flooded with in the media are air brushed, made up, fake haired mannequins with plastic bags stuck under their skin so their boobs stick out. Even the women around us day to day are not "allowed" to just be themselves (women). They may not go to the lengths of the media charicatures, but they do the same basic stuff on a smaller scale (we men do too). We are presented lies, and we present lies. (Some) Art points out the lies and makes us think about the truth of the topic.
I'm glad it makes some laugh (I guess it does kind of resemble a maniacal muppet). I think that means, that at least on some level, you recognize how absurd this situation is.
And now I see why he added the description guide. Seriously, without one, this makes no sense. It's nothing more than a slightly OOF sock puppet.
