I was very fortunate with this picture. I saw this snake in a bush, and very slowly I brought my camera to his level. At the time he was hiding, but after a while he got curious about the camera and decided to investigate. When he was pretty close I took a bunch of pictures. I only wish I got him with his tongue out, cause it was coming out every few seconds. (5 years and 3236 days ago)

Thanks all, and I don't remember friiskiwi, it was last year. But I think I use my macro lens, but not zoomed in. And no MnM, snakes don't scare me, I even have one, maybe I'll take a shot of him too. you would like him, he has no bright stripes.
