Too dark....
Its supposed to be dark. I set it up that way. Actually I put my finger over half of the flash so only the top would have light.
Experimenting is good, but I don't think it worked for this photo. good luck.

I don't have the experience or any equipment for such a professional look but figured I'd give it a try. If you have any suggestions I would more than appreciate them, always open to learning from someone with your talent!
I don't know. There's a little bit of noise on top, but I basically like the lighting and effect. It was a good attempt. Keep trying to get it a little more refined

It's a good attempt but I think more lighting on the camera would have made this shot better. Still I see you are getting better.
