sorry if I am being a muppet, but if this were a 360, would you not only see 4 of the six sides.....the top and bottom sides would not be visible.......
Hmmm.... Guess I hadn't really thought about it that way. I spun the die 360 then flipped it to show the top and bottom. If you think that this isn't right then I'll gladly change it.
A little too simple if you ask me. All the sides are flat. How hard could it have possibly been to get them to line up. Oh and Ade is right you wouldn't see the tops.
Thank you for your expert opinion Josh, I missed the part in the contest description that said it had to be difficult. Perhaps you can enter something hard and teach me how its done?
Yeah, try a more challenging surface, like a basketball...
Boy did I ever think you were someone else
Perhaps I will try a basketball Josh, just for you.
wait, who said we had to go around the item side to side and then top to bottom too? The author is correct on how he/she did it because there are only 4 sides around a die. Yes, six sides but only 4 AROUND it.
Kellie, thanks for the help but I changed the entry to avoid argument,it originally had all six sides. I didn't think that showing an extra 2 sides would matter but apparently it does
Well I like the picture a lot but not understanding enough on the details of this (hince why I didn't enter) but I do like the shot.
MnM, maybe this will clear things up:
The goal is to take a panorama shot around an object (basically, shoot pictures of every side of your subject in a 360 degree pattern). Using Photoshop you then have to stitch these images together to form one continuous image (which is why we get that long, stretched effect - think of a globe that is cut in half and laid out flat on a table). It creates an interesting look and is very challenging to do from a technical aspect because everything must be done manually (which can take multiple hours - something our friends in the Photoshop contests can chuckle at). :P Hope this helps!
OHHHHH, I guess I didn't even notice that there were 6 die up there before :O My bad.
Philips sense and simplicity.
