Great shot! I really like how the dog is positioned in such a way that it isn't hit with the strong sunlight. I would suggest though that maybe a higher shutter speed would be better for this kind of shot because backlighting is a bit too bright and distracting and I personally think water droplets in stop motion look better than in blurred motion. Good job though!

TankRed, thanks for the advice, but it isn't as simple as you think. The shutter speed for this photo is set for the shadows. I did it that way I wouldn't loose detail there. I could have shot in must faster, but I would have lost the detail in the dogs face, I had to lighten it enough as it is. Also, the droplets aren't the main focus, the dog is, and the dog is perfectly clear. The radial effect of the drops is just icing on the cake. It's part of what separates this photo from others. Also, with limitation of photo editing software, this is not one of my most high quality shots.
