Used the interval time on my camera. Exposure 1.3 seconds. Shutter fired every 2 seconds. 300 frames...one with lightning. (5 years and 3079 days ago)

That is great, what time of the day was it. Was it light or was that the exposure time that made it look like day?
Don't think I have a time release on my camera, but should be able to do it tethered to the computer. What f-stop did you use?

Well done - would love to have the ability to program my shutter to fire like that. It has a 2 second delay or continous, but no way to make them continuous at set intervals. I am yet to catch such an awesome lightning strike

Hey Falling horse, next time there is a lightning storm. Get a dirty great big lightning rod and hold onto it. Your bound to catch a lightning strike then.
