Beautiful picture. I'm just curious, with such a long exposure, how did you manage to keep all the boats perfectly sharp? I'd imaging they would be bobbing around a bit. Can you share your technique, Id love to try this.
This was actually 200 or so 25 sec exposures stacked together in a program called StarStaX.
Very cool picture, almost a timelapse of sorts. Congrats on a great image.
Nicely done author...I still need to try this technique, but my timing is terrible, when I have the time, the conditions suck for such a shot, when the conditions are good, I don't have the time to get to an interesting location. Very interesting entry indeed.
