Instead of 2 cups of water, we use one cup water and one cup of any type of alcohol and use syringes for the "shot"!! YUMM YUMM! (5 years and 3101 days ago)

Awesome idea and presentation! However I'm very sad to know that I've been missing out on this for all these years and settling for plastic cups
A bit of advice on how to improve this though, if you could switch out your b/g for something non reflective that would help a lot. It would get rid of the reflection of the flash as well as the chromatic aberration (The blue and purple halos around the plungers). If that's not possible than moving the flash to a different angle would eliminate those problems as well. Of course that is assuming you have the ability to separate your flash from the camera.
But even with those minor flaws this is still a great image, keep up the good work

I even tried some outside shots so I wouldn't need the flash but they weren't any better.
I tried every set-up possible and honestly just figured I wouldn't enter any of the 30+ photos I took. As I was sorting thru and deleting them I tried some adjustments just to see what I had, this was the best one of the bunch and I figured that although not great it was decent enough to submit. The glare does drive me crazy though!! I can't remove my flash
Again, thank you so much for the advise. I will definitely take all your points into consideration next time.
Perhaps a polarizing filter to help with the glare? (Don't trust me, though, I suck at taking photos!)
I LOVE the weird, "toxic" look to this. Definitely an eye catcher, and thanks for the tip about the syringes - Great improvement over the plastic cups!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sending every PXL person on here that has NOT tried using a syringe for a shooter a plane ticket to Florida so we can have a syrings shooter party!!! YA'LL ARE DISAPPOINTIN ME! (hehehe)
BUT after that party you will have had a GREAT experience! The idea is to have one person taking the shot and another one giving it. 
MUCH FUN TO BE HAD WITH THEM THINGS!
