Interesting, but is it really purple, looks very blue to me.
They are very much purple, not blue.I have 3 computers in my home and checked on all three of them to ensure that the post processing didn't make them blueish. It maybe the monitor you are using. I even compared the post processed color against a color wheel.
More likely my eyes, or my opinion as to what is purple. difficult colour to classify. Good luck

It's a PURPLE and white flower very close-up. Each flower head has 3-5 of these bulbs that are about as big-a-round as a pencil on them.
Changed the photo to one with a different angle and post-processing. Really hope this stops people from thinking this is blue and not purple!
