and endangering them.
It is quite common in many places here in rural areas. They dont have money to buy a car or any large vehicle for whole family. So they adjust this way. And if accidents can take place even at home sleeping if ceiling falls down. So even that is dangerous to have a deep sleep at home. lol kidding. .
author, I understand exactly what you mean and a person must do what they must do to survive and to take care of their family. To me, this shows that he will do whatever it takes to take care of his family. I have been to places where the ONLY thing they had in their house was 2 pots to cook on in a building that was 4 walls... 4 feet by 6 feet. Nothing else! No bathroom....nothing! where you are coming from completely with this photo!
hi kellie... This belongs to a tribal area of india.. yeah such things are not seen in cities in india as they are fined for this.. but tribals are very much poor here and this is a big thing for them to buy a bike.. but one thing i noticed in tribal guys also that are much happier than people in cities here. As far as this photograph is concerned i wanted to show a father who can take little risk but atleast making efforts to carry his family together to make them happy.. even i would love to travel with my family sitting congested in a small car rather travelling alone lol
