I used ND400 filter to capture the photo, rendering the moving objects to appears as blurry line. Fortunately, the girl waiting for the red light to be green was standing patiently that made her appear sharp. The image was then post processed by using blending mode to further enhance it (5 years and 2958 days ago)

I like this! The pole would be the only distracting thing in this picture in my opinion but you can't do anything about that so AMAZING JOB!
One of the best black and white photos I have seen in a very long time. Excellent values!
EDIT: You've changed your entry. Pity.
I'm sorry MossyB, I have been requested to edit the entry, but if I can revert it back to the original photo, I will for sure revert it back. If not, I'll upload into my album collection
I don't understand what is the white outline around the pole, cables and almost everything (but not everything) that is in front of the dark sky. Could you explain it please ?
@Artifakts: The white outline around the cable, pole and any other stuffs in front of the dark sky is the result of using blending mode. The original image was duplicated and inverted, then using blending mode to merge the original image and the inverted image - all of the post processing is done on the overall image as per photography guideline - hope it helps
Thanks for your explanations. I didn't know that kind of effect. It gives the picture a special mood and nice aspect.
Wow. This is a great black and white. Very much on theme and very dramatic.
Howdie stranger!
